HIGHTAIL K9s — Training Terms & Conditions By purchasing any service, lesson, package, class, or program from HIGHTAIL K9s, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. 1. No Refund Policy All payments made to HIGHTAIL K9s are non-refundable. Due to the nature of dog training services, time slots, planning, and trainer availability are reserved specifically for each client. This includes: • Private training sessions
• Training packages
• Board & Train programs
• Group classes
• Evaluations
• Deposits Missed sessions, unused sessions, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances do not qualify for refunds. 2. Balanced Training Methods HIGHTAIL K9s uses balanced dog training methods. This may include the use of training tools such as: • prong collars
• slip leads
• long lines
• e-collars
• other professional training equipment These tools are used ethically and responsibly to communicate clearly with the dog. By purchasing services, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the use of balanced training methods and tools as part of the training process. 3. Owner Responsibility Dog training success depends heavily on owner consistency and follow-through outside of training sessions. Clients are responsible for: • practicing training exercises at home
• following trainer instructions
• maintaining structure and rules for their dog
• attending scheduled sessions on time HIGHTAIL K9s cannot guarantee results if the owner fails to apply the training consistently. Failure to follow instructions does not constitute trainer fault or service failure. 4. No Guarantees Dog behavior is influenced by many factors including environment, genetics, owner consistency, and lifestyle. For this reason: HIGHTAIL K9s does not guarantee specific results or behavioral outcomes. Training improves communication and structure but requires ongoing effort from the owner. 5. Liability Release By participating in training services, you acknowledge that working with animals carries inherent risks. You agree that: • HIGHTAIL K9s is not liable for injuries to dogs, owners, family members, or third parties that may occur during or after training.
• HIGHTAIL K9s is not responsible for incidents that occur when training instructions are not followed. The owner assumes full responsibility for their dog’s behavior at all times. 6. Legal Responsibility The dog owner remains fully legally responsible for their dog at all times. This incl
